WHAT IS A SUPPORT GROUP?

A support group is a group of people with common experiences or concerns who provide each other with encouragement, comfort, and advice. In this case, these groups are specifically for sex workers and strippers of specific demographics. The support groups are peer-led and will have a professional with a counseling degree (or a student finishing their degree) there to facilitate.
